In game shot:

Renders

In Game Video:

[Bear in mind the video above was made in the NeoAxis Engine and I didn't do any programming to get my model in there - the water and bloom shader are part of the engine and I sculpted and textured the terrian]

Not sure why Higgins didn't post his stuff, because I would have voted for him. But in that case, Jasiek has my vote because of proper prior planning, art of good quality and most likely to be seen in a video game. (Looks so FF7~!)

Higgins is welcome to still enter his model, but all votes already cast will be final and users would not be able to change their votes since it's past the entry deadline.

Where's Alucard's entry - I know he didn't finishm but then nor did most of us. Oh well, he's a fool for missing the deadline and likewise Higgins.

My vote goes to:

I vote Phosphoer.
Thats a pretty cool render there.
...But what's that spikey thing duct taped to the tree?

@Everyone:
If you win, what do you think you'll make the next competition? I really want to enter the next one. (I really wanted to enter this one, too. but I found out about it too late to get started.)

If they announced what they were going to do then the votes would be probably be more biased towards the favourite theme rather han the favourite entry.

So if everybody likes DA's ideas and not mine, then he'd have a better chance of winning, which as you can imagine wouldn't be fair. (And it my idea is better than DA's, which we all know my idea will be the best, so good that'll blow your socks off...kidding of course, I don't have a clue what I'd pick if I got the most votes)

Oh lawl I won, again...
I was also going to propose a character contest Dragon Assasin. I wouldn't narrow the style like that though. So I would say design a game ready character within a limit of 10000 (HL2 Alyx) poly's and a texture limit of 2048x2048? No animation needed.
