I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, like they should be.

I don't have 3d world studio but most programs have a save or export function in the file menu in the top left corner of most programs then again i don't have 3d world studio but hopefully that helps

3d World Studio does have that. In the file menu there is a choice called export. I can't use it because I have the free trial but there should be choices for .x files as well as .dbo, and some other stuff you don't need for dbpro/DarkGDK. Using save as only saves the map as a 3d world studio file. That is only good for opening later and editing it, or using with leadwerks engine.

you need the fully version of 3dworld studio to enable the export/export selected in the file menu
