Dark shader is an official plugin so yes, you can use it like the other pay-for plugins you can get from TGC, and I'm pretty sure Rick or Lee said you could specifically to this onc on some thread.

You can use any tool to produce media which is then imported/loaded into your demo for rendering/performing. You cannot, however, include third party commands or DLLs which means you cannot use BLUEGUI or UNITY. The demos must compile and run under a default installation of Dark Basic Pro and DarkPHYSICS.

Does this not contradict what Rick said here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=132386&b=32

this quote:

As DarkShader, like Unity/BlueGUI are TPC DLLs that don't come with the default install of either DP or DBPro. This lcukily doesn't affect me as I've only used a few commands from EzRotate(commercial version) and can just make DBP alternatives but I'd imagine others will have used them a lot more .

You can use the media and shaders exported from DarkSHADER, but not any DLLs that enhance DBPro. You can only use DBPro commands and the DarkPHYSICS commands. Sorry.

so we can't do some full screen shaders ?
Because they generally need to use DarkSHADER DLL commands to work ...

You can do fullscreen shaders without the benefit of the DarkSHADER DLL by taking the shader and applying it to your own screen aligned quad for post processing. Naturally DarkSHADER makes life a little easier, but we have to be very specific about what DLLs these demos are using (DBP + DarkPHYSICS only).
