You could post the model here so we can have a blast.

That's a great idea and a good start. I think your dimensions may be a little off, like in the umbrella, and the wheels could use a little work, but not too bad. Best of luck with it.

Best.

using well i made sure the fpe was correct and copied it al most identical to another static enitiys fpe. and changed the names round for the hot dog thing but it seems that fpsc just crashes when trying too put it down in the fpsc editor

...let's take a peek.

xplosys is correct about the scale of the umbrella, and the attention to the wheels.

Have you tried to get this into FPSC? If so, please post the .fpe file that you attempted to use.

...I'm looking at the .x file, and can see that you've used Milkshape to export this to .x format.

I don't see an assigned texture called out in the .x file. Has this model been optimized? Did you generate a UV map for this model?

I don't have FPSC installed on this computer, so I'm flying blind at the moment, and can't run the model through the FPSC editor.

...can't verify it right now, but I have a strong suspicion that's what's causing the crash. The model lacks an optimized set of UV coordinates.

If you used Milkshape to export it you can texture the model in the modeller which you can do if you can save the texture as a jpg or texture format(UV mappers were a little confusing)
