Insomnia at 5:08 pm?

I think insomnia is something that all of us programmers suffer. Long nites working on your game trying to get a tech demo done before 5AM, only to relize that it has a bug which will take another hour to sort out.

Actually, my parents make me go to bed at 10:30.
It's 10:44 on my clock Eastern US... Oh here they come:
"Andrew! Get up here and get to bed!!!"

Then I stay up 'till 4:30 doing nothing, then they get mad at me for being unconcious in the morning.

And coke? I hope you mean the bubbly soda kind.

I got hurt at work just over 3 months ago. I suffer from chronic migranes and im on alot of pain killers, migrane prevenitive meds etc. And from day to day it can cause insomnia or I can sleep for 12 - 13 hours. Bad days I can sleep for 12 at night, then have 4-5 hours of naps.

Other bad days I can go 3 days with out sleep due to pain.

But I will admit, I get alot of work done on those days.

@ indi - Yep wrong URL, I have edited post Yeah I just published to see that the basic template worked ok for everyone as I have had many probs in past with stuff only working in IE and not other browsers properly. Will be adding lots of stuff soon

@ falelorn - I'm a suffer too. Been signed off for over a year now. Try seeing a dentist, may sound silly but I recently had a wisdom tooth out and off to get another taken out on Thur. Made a big difference and should be back at work soon

My migranes are caused from a wack on the head. My skull has a small dent, and lot of scar tissue that makes my skull feel like a paved road surface, luckily my hair is covering it, all but 2 inches.
