As of right now it is not possible as the there is no source code for X10 and without the source code there is now way to make the changes needed for and RPG mod.

Why would you buy something called FPSc and try to make an RPG?
That's like asking how to make a wrench into a screwdriver.

Well, with FPSC V1, and Ply's mod, you can get an RPG out of it, However X10, no... But they won't be real RPG's as Oblivion, more like RPG's in which you pass levels and such, like Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, but less graphical...

I'm sure I've heard rumors that more RPG elements will be introduced into FPSC sometime down the line.

Actually, I was working on an RPG way back, it failed horrificly, but it was one of the first things I did... I believe I was one of the first to use the engine for something else then another generic shooter... But it looked crappy

I don't see TGC adding enough attributes that you could release anything near today's standards. They are already behind in fps features. Granted, many features might apply to both an fps and an rpg.

Well success is relative. I'm sure they still are nowhere near their goals in the marketplace. Also consider how constrained resources are now. Working on RPGC would be at the peril of other things that need to be done.

TGC have enough game engines/products already some might say but I would not be suprised if more may come along. It might have been good if they had only one that all their resources went into, so perhaps making a single, perhaps better engine but that has not and is not likely to happen for many reasons me thinks. So more derivative engines at least I would think longer term. Certainly a new engine from the bottom up perhaps is very unlikely.
