3D Canvas Pro / Two Version Strains?

Hello

I just bought 3D Canvas Pro and was given the link to download the latest version of it. The version I got however was 6.5.1.0 and stayed so even after I had registered it and downloaded the upgrade from within 3Dd Canvas Pro itself. When I bought the license I was expecting to get version 7.1 as it says on the shop page. I noticed that the trial version that one can download from the shop page was version 7.1 and on Amabilis own site one can download version 7.1.1.2.

My question is are there two strains of 3D Canvas Pro or is the shop department just not up to date?

6.5.1.0 is the version that most places have for downloading. It is mainly there for people with older systems (98,2000)
To get the up to date version, go to amabilis website and download it. Uninstall the 6.5.1.0 and install the new one. After you install the new one, enter the license code you were given and do the upgrade download like you did with V6. You should then have version 7.1.1.2.
