Now that the store is accepting some music, I thought I'd take a gamble at making some. Here is what I got so far. If if it's this quality, do you think I'll be accepted into the store?

Thanks Daniel. I think I'll wait to sell this somewhere else. Not that I don't like the store, I just feel that I can put this in a better place.

EDIT: Thanks Nickydude! Didn't see your post. Maybe I'll sell in both places... I'm still thinking about it... Ah, what the heck. Might as well.

I think I'll also do some custom songs.
If you would like custom music for your game, tell me what type of game it is and I'll get started.
$5.00 USD for custom songs
$1.00 USD for regular songs

Email me or post here if you want something custom and I'll send my PayPal account info.

Per song. Not for a custom soundtrack. Plus it also gets more people buying.

Hey Gunn3r can you try to make some action/horror songs? me and my tea need more costume music.

Oh and just to make sure when you make a custom song. It is only the person who bought it right. So you dont sell the custom song anywere else except to the customer?

Yep. You get the rights to a custom song. Send me an email and I'll give you a link to my PayPal stuff. The song that I just made is similar to what it sounds like you want, so I'll work on a new version of that one.

Punk13, I've made your piece. It's 1:10 long, but that's plenty long enough for intros/firefights.

Here's a 5 second clip of it.

You're a FPSC user, obviously you have the TGC Store. Its built in to the program.

@Deathead, I noticed that too. What do you think of the pieces?

@Daniel, Cool. Just let me know what style and I'll send you the PayPal info so that you can pay.

@Punk13, The action piece that you wanted is complete and is waiting for you to email me so that I can give you the PayPal stuff. When you do that, I'll be more than happy to send it over to you. (It's my favorite work so far)

Not .ogg? Ogg is smaller. 25 is a bit much... At $5 a song, that would make it $125. I could do a discount for doing that many songs for $100, or you could get a couple and reuse them.

Gunn3r, I would do about 5 musical pieces, all with a different theme/genre.
This will quench some needs.
And yes .ogg.

Ok. So we have 25 from Daniel Wright - Medieval style
And 5 from Deathead - Various styles

Daniel, That's not a problem for me. I fix up the tracks with Audacity, so all I need to do is click Export to WAV

Deathead, would that be like a soundtrack style or just misc. music?

Soundtrack. Because this way you could experiment with the music. Get better with other Genres. As it could be like modelling you get so used to modelling somethings that you can't stop modelling that style and you will never push the boundaries. So this could help out with your music composing(though it doesn't need any) but probably get what I'm saying.

One question gunn3r if we go through you and you create the peace we get a full license? Because my team wanted to make a Spacial edition of the game that came with both the gamer and the official sound track so what im asking is We have like 7 songs so far and are going to have around 15 on the soundtrack, so its cool if we sell the music you make in our soundtrack as long as we have it customly made just for us right?

@ Gunn3r:

Since you now have the ability to create music, are you still going to keep me around to do the Tristan Craft theme?

By the way, the song sounds nice, although sometimes the strings and the piano clash. I enjoyed the drums in it though.

If you want to continue to do it, that's fine. I can't really think of a specific theme to try, so I'm sitting with a bunch of resources to use, but no goal to head towards with it.

I did notice that they do clash, but I'm working that out in the store submission stuff.

@Daniel, Work has started on #1 of 25. I find it funny that you think I'm better then a professional.

Sweet deal. I just came up with a pretty sweet idea for a theme, but then Reason decided to pack its bags and quit on me tonight. Now I'm gonna forget it...

But I was wondering if you could send me a couple videos of gameplay in your game? Maybe like two gameplay videos, that's all I would need. That would help out drastically for the music creation, knowing what I'm actually creating it for (although I'm only doing the title, it helps to get the general theme of the game in your head). You know?

Well, considering when I upgraded to Vista, all TC stuff disappeared, it'll be some time before I get going with it again. If you read the Informer, you should remember that I'm also waiting until V2 for the game, so the water and stuff wouldn't be in it. I'll send over something when I get a chance, though.

well, for gaming music i really do, i have sampled at least 200 diffrent sounds for moon rising, to be honest it was a cross between you and another guy that was charging like twenty dollers per .wav.

I just finished the second TGC Store piece and now am going back to work on 1 out of 25. It'll be a mix of slow and fast songs so that you can use them whenever.

EDIT: 1 out of 25 is done.

I'm working on my website and added this into the store that I've added on. You can check it out here. Each song is a dollar each, but you must have a PayPal account to buy it. I have not tested the buying system, as I can't have 2 PayPal account point to the same bank account.

Best.

Okay. Thanks for the input. I'll go preview some of them as well. I'm also planning on releasing a small media pack to my forum, if you're interested. It should include a couple of tracks and a couple of HUDs.

All songs are now accompanied by a preview. I am not sure, however, that the system works after you pay for it in PayPal. It sends me an email, though, if you do decide to purchase.
