Is it me or the soft body objects cannot be textured. Texture object does not work. Object material file is ignored because when loaded in any other application mesh has it's texture but DP ignores it and object is gray. Is it impossible or am I doing something completely wrong?

Thanks,
Olby

You can texture it, it's just there is no UV data, however there is normal data so you can use a cube map or a shader that uses normals as its texture lookup source(if it uses textures).

I would use soft body but I still cant get phyxview to work, so I guess thats if for me, unless some one can tell me if there is another way of making them.

no I don`t think your getting what I`m asking, I was talking about making the .tet model themselves, and as far as I can tell this is just a physic driver.

if it is for making .tet model then how dose it work? it has no .exe

can some one give me a link or something to a program that makes the .tet file format please.

@sindore

You have to down load the sdk because they thought it would good to put the phyxviewer in with that package, phyxviewer is the only thing out there that can turn your object into a tet.

If you do download SDK in it are some good demos on how thing are done plus if you can read C++ you will be able to pick the good bits out to work in DBPro.

@HowDo

I think I`v got it but when I run it comes up with some error message saying physX rocket requires at least shader model 2.0 to run, how can I fix this?

and if I have the right program its name is physX_2.7.3_tools.exe

and can be found at
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/physx_downloads.html#SDK

but I could be wrong.

The SDK is the PhysX_2.7.3_SDK_Core.exe download, not the PhysX_2.7.3_Tools.exe download. Have fun
