I don't know if anyone would be interested, but apparently Microsoft has bought up TrueSpace (a 3D object creator and animator) and has released it for free, most likely in competition with Google's SketcUp (which I never found that kewlsome.)

That looks pretty nice. I didn't care for sketchup. Like most 3D modelers, is was fairly confusing. Better than blender, though.
