ok last time i posted this it was in bug report (my bad)
what i want to know is if its possible to make alternate blood animations rather than just having the little sphere thing remove that and make it look like the gears of war blood im not asking for detachments and im pretty sure this can be done i just have no idea how

If you have gimp or photoshop it's a quick fix. Open up the decals folder in the gamecore folder, then open up the blood folder. Just change the image the way you want it to look in such programs as gimp or photoshop.

not the decals that stay but while u shoot them the blood that comes out i could pay an animator i just need to know how

[sigh] No you can't. The blood isn't an animation. Open what I told you to open and you'll see. It's an image. The blood is a decal. Therefore, it's an image.

The blood is an image with multiple frames which will play after eachother on a flat plane facing the camera, therefor you can not create 3D blood that responds to the envirement.

Somehow I doubt that how the blood flies is going to make or break a game.

I don't know what plans Lee has for X10, but there's some hope there with particles.

ive seen the spurt so i just need to learn how to mod but i didn't know source was released so now i feel really stupid oh and uthink everyone knows more gore = more fun even though game play is important

the blood in Gears of War looks like its 2D, kinda like fake 3d...if u have awesome photoshop skill, and alot of time, its a piece of CAKE.or PIE.
