After adding an icon file to the Icons panel, be it an ico file or bmp file, and saving the project. The next time around, I'm not able to open that project. I get an error: 'cannot open file iconfilename',
where iconfilename is the name of my icon file. Looks like another freaking bug in the IDE!!! Is there a workaround? Another thing, DBPro only generates its own logo as the exe's icon. This is just too much...
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm disappointed w/ DBPro!!!

Try using Reshack. You can down load it form:

http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/

It will hack/replace Icons and resources from/to almost any exe.
I know it's a bit brutal, and the IDE should work properly, but it's the best way I can think of to get around your problem. Just make sure you replace icons with like for like versions (same size & depth).
