No. You must get a Modeling program such as Anim8or or 3D Studio Max...

This may not be the best way, but instead of using just a modeler, I also like to use my digital camcorder for humans & some props. You can do so much with a digital camcorder nowdays, like a greenscreen, or a bluescreen.

My camcorder has both of these capabilites, & if you want the perfect example of a greenscreen, check out the movie T3 near the end, when half of arnolds neck is gone, they used greenscreen patches for that.

You can now get some digital camcorders for fairly cheap, look on half.com, at best buy, & some other places. My Camcorder cost about $850 when we bought it, but now it only costs about $450 & was worth every penny I spent on it.

If you dont want added realism, go with a modeler, MS3D can handle AVI movies now, & I use that for a lot of my avi's, in cunjunction with my Camcorder.

AVI movies are all done in an editor outside of DB, so if you really wanted them, I would go buy a very good film editing software, take a camcorder, & record everything you need on the greenscreen.

Then take the one movie, apply greenscreen attributes to anything of the same color green, & play a movie ontop of the movie, so it would show the proper terrain & make it seem like you are walking over it.

There's the option of taking screen dumps of in-game scenes, and then arranging them into a movie (if you have something like Adobe Premier for example).

Bonuses are after effects, transitions, and the fact your movies wont look a shit load better than the game itself ......

... the downside being the movies wont look better than the game itself!

Well you could make in engine cut scenes with scripted events for the camera angles.

There is also a couple other things you could do. Like using the quake 2 engine movies, called Machinima or something.
