I've installed model packs 5 + 9 last night. I replaced the rubbish knife with the knife from model pack 5. Packaged the game back up and gave it to a few of my mates. None of them can play the game, because it has model pack stuff in. Wth?
I removed the knife, replaced it with the old one. And they can run it perfectly fine. Don't tell me i've just wasted £25 on 2 model packs that only i can use? :/

What errors are they getting? Perhaps the new knife texture isn't being packaged. It seems obvious it has something to do with the knife. Does it say 'illegal mesh' or something like that?

No; it doesn't say anything. I've even tried it on my moms. You click the .exe. Then it loads up as normal; the screen closes. And the 'There has been an unexpected error during blah blah' screen pop up from windows :/

Open the new knife's fps file, and look for this section (this is for mod pack 5 knife as I don't have pack 9, but you ge the idea):

model = <knife name here>.x
scale = 50
textured = <knife texture here>.dds
reducetexture = -1
transparency = 1
isimmobile = 1

Check in the packaged game there is the .x file and the .dds file with the new knife name.

Bond, i've just checked. It has both. Yeah, it's the knife from MP5.
It works perfectly in the creator, and on my computer once i've used build.exe
But; on other peoples computers. It doesn't work; at all

Do the 'other computers' all have the latest 'Direct X' installed?
It could be something as simple as this.

Are the operating systems the same i.e XP/Vista?

All the best of luck.

I've just tried it with my moms computer. Installed her the latest direct X 9.0c.
And; it didn't work whatsoever. Stupid question; is it because i'm using FPSC V1.12?

Shouldnt be any problems.
Try to build a new map, just a 4x4 room with the knife inside. Build it and try on another computer. If it still dont work I dont know what to do.

I've just got a big idea.
If someones got MP5
Can you make a 4 x 4 sqaure map. Player starts with the k-bar (Knife). From mp5. Build the game into an .exe
Once it's been built can you check the files in the games folder gamecore, guns. And take a screen of the k-bar folder so i can compare to mine.
