What is best? 1 unit is 1 cm, 1m or 1 mm?

I think having each unit measure 1 cm would be best. With meters, you'll have to deal with a lot of decimals, which are more painful than a lot of large numbers.

My site, for various stuff that I make.

I use 1 unit = 1 metre. That makes the maths easy and accurate when calculating speed (9.8m/s/s falling rate = 9.8 units/s/s). IIRC, it's also the unit size used by the physic plug-in/library.
