Hey everyone.

I've installed DGDK for the first time and I'm trying to run though the tutorials to get used to the syntax (I come from an Allegro/HAM game background) but things aren't going to well.

I installed MSVC++E 2008, DirectX SDK, and DGDK. It integrated with MSVC++ okay and everything runs fine as far as the wizards go and teh template code. However when I debug the project, or try to compile and run it, it returns a runtime error saying "invalid bit depth specified". Now I have absolutely no idea what this means at all. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I write programs. What more do you want?
