How do I remove the constant on screen help text? I'm fairly new at this. I've managed to create a HUD, and adjust all the numbers correctly, and remove the "lives" and "health" by simply moving them off-screen, but I can't figure out how to remove the help text. The one(s) that say "Press ENTER to use" on the bottom of the screen, or whatever.

I attempted searching on this forum for about an hour but I couldn't find anything. The search tool on here is extremely annoying, but I didn't exactly know what/how to search for it either, though. If your search is to broad it doesn't show you anything (more than 100 results) but it's impossible to narrow if I don't know the exact name of something

Anyways, any help would be great, thanks.

Got to the script bank and find the script that your entity uses.

Look for a line similar to the following:

:state=0:hudreset,hudx=50,hudy=90,hudimagefine=gamecore\text\pressentertouse.tga,hudname=usedoorprompt,hudhide=1,hudmake=display,state=10
:state=10,plrdistwithin=45:hudshow=usedoorprompt,hudfadeout=usedoorprompt

I am sure that you can figure it out from there.

Patience and tolerance are the keys to the passage of knowledge. Even the ones that know the most started with many questions.

or you could go into the language bank, find the specific HUD images, and delete/rename them...

All I do is set the range to 5, and it never pops up.

Which range Keith? You mean "plrdistwithin=45"?
