Well of course ya all know that truespace 7.6 is now free, so I downloaded it hoping to make some models. However, I don't know how to export it to .x format... I don't know how to export it even! Could someone tell me how?

There is a tab at the top left corner that says Truespace 6. If you click that, the top right corner will open up a drop down menu with the words, TS6 Files. Click that. Then click save as and you can save it as a .X

I'm not sure if that's how you're supposed to do it but you can save it as .X if you do lol.

We're all set. All that's left is to spend a few weeks going through all possible combinations in the animation export to find one that works.

I wish I knew what I were doing!

I wonder what a person would charge to take someones files and covert them all from maya, 3ds, or something else and covert them to .X files that work in fpsc

I'm seeing the appeal of murder now; I cant even swap a blasted texture around to see if there's a UV bug. I think got close once, hard to say, the window was so small, icons even smaller, then the program crashed.
Someone is playing games with me, I swear.

I wish I knew what I were doing!

Even if I solve the texture problem I just can't see a way to begin to troubleshoot my animations always exporting with 2000 frames.
I admit, I solved my problem by Angry Quitting Truespace and crawling back to Milkshape in a miserable smeary mascara, runny nose style tantrum.

I wish I knew what I were doing!
