Hey all!

Have been playing around with the fpsc for xp for a good few weeks now but i feel that the low poly and lack of decent shader and bloom support is getting me down.

I am about to upgrade my machine to vista (technically im going backwords as i downgraded to xp before sp1) and i would like to know how i can update my x9 fpsc to the x10? Surely we're not expected to pay again for a few new features and shader support?

Anyway, another 35 is a bit much after spending all my cash on fpsc x9, milkshape and signs licences.

Help me out?

Nope, sorry, there was a money off deal about a year ago when I came out, but I think it's a full pricer for you now. But you can still use milkshape and signs!

X10 is not an upgrade of X9.
It's a new engine.
Time to pay!

Personally I would hold off buying X10 for now, TGC are concentrating on getting X9 up to speed and X10 still has some issues which won't be corrected for a while.

But why spend time in X9 if you know you are going to X10? This would be a good time to learn. Especially if you want any custom media.

If you want to put something out in the next 6 months, then yes, finish it in X9. But I think you've already said the X9 isn't cutting it visually. But if money is tight, you may not have any choice but to wait.
