So, I bought 3D Canvas Pro, it worked fine for a few days, then something happened today.

When I started it up, it loaded fine, once I clicked the scene area, it gave me this

I clicked close, and the program shut down.

Then when I went to load up the program it said 3D Canvas stopped working properly do you want to reload the last sessions scene, so I said no (since there wasnt anything there anyways)

It loaded, then the same thing happened when I clicked the scene area again.

I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times (and cleaned out the registry and all files related to 3D Canvas before reinstalling it) and I still get the error.

Any ideas as to what happened?

Yeah that did the trick. I guess the pre-6.5 version has a problem working with newer DirectX.

But when I updated to the newest version something else began to error.

After a few minutes of working with 3D Canvas one of the view windows would go black, then a few seconds after that the other view windows would turn black as well ... and I couldnt get the images to return.

But I figured out the solution (in case someone else runs into this problem).

I changed the options in 3D Canvas to only "remember" the last 10 changes to the object your working on (instead of 100). Then I went into the Nvidia Control Panel, turned down the colour to 16 bit, changed the image settings to Performance instead of "Let 3D application decide".
