Hello once again, this is my first attemt at a gun model and i just wanted to see what people think, it still has a long way to go and needs texturing and some detailing but i just wanted a general idea of what people thought....

Well, it's a cookie cutout(I think that's what its called). So, its ok, BUT, you should make different parts of the gun thinner/thicker.

I know it is just a start for me, it still has a lot to be done, i just need some good textures too, any ideas? If not how can i improve the model?

well to start the handle thing looks rather uncomfortable. Make the sides smoother, so its more...cylindrical kind of. It should be more round.

Extrude the faces as you have a couple more times in the same direction and it will create you some more vertices to play with you can scale them a little to make the gun have a little more shape.

either that or do tools- smooth edges in milkshape and make sure it doesn't create too many polys and them play around with those vertices.

This looks a lot like the L8542 from Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I know it's a real gun, I just don't know what it's real name is lol.
