Hello,

I'm using a program called the cherokee level editor,( you can find it by searching the forum), and have created a small level. When I use the command Load object and specify the location of the object, Level1.cle, it returns that it can't load my 3D object, any way I could fix this?

I don't need a signature.

dbpro does not support .cle
you will have to find a way to convert your file to .3ds or .x
check in your level editor to see if you can export to another
format...
hope this helps...

thanks, pirate

Probably not as chances are a .cle file is a custom file format made up by the creator of the editor. There probably aren't many besides the creator who know how it works, hence nobody but her could make the converter. Based on what I read in the thread, I think the editor may be able to export loading code of some sort? I'm not entirely sure how it works at the moment...

She answered me saying, "just load the routines from the editor"
What does she mean?

Chances are she wrote some code that you copy and paste into your game that lets you load the level. I don't quite know where it is though.

Check the level editor program itself - maybe there's some code somewhere...
