Anyone had any frame-rate problems with an FPSC compiled map. With a Intel Core 2 2.5Ghz with a 8800GT video card i have map stuttering like mad.

Any thoughts anyone?

zero im not sure what you consider smooth, but there's no way your getting a consistant 30fps with 15 x10 characters on your screen in a room with x10 quality textures

crumbaker, as im sure you know exactly how my computer runs instead of me- you're definitely WRONG though. smooth as in 30+ fps. and why wouldn't it run like that? i run crysis on very high with about 30 to 37fps and resolution 1280x1024. so yea, im pretty sure i wouldn't lie about how many fps i get on x10 just a thought tho

Like Zero, I can run a room with about 30 characters in it with no problems, IT Guru, do you have the latest updates for X10?

OH! did you mess with any of the driver settings in the nvidia control panel thing or w/e ...i have ati so i have catalyst control center where u can mess with the anisotripic filters and stuff and anti-aliasing and mip mapping....set EVERYTHING to default, including your overclocking on cpu and gpu or ram if u did any of that. and see if it works, then try updating ur cpu version or going to an earlier driver version (typically works better) atleast it works better with ati, i cant use the new versions of my drivers b/c they always end up crashing my system....so idk try different things

Dude, i have one word for you (well, kinda)... x64. My basic system specs are:
GeForce 8600GT
AMD Sempron LE-1100 1.90 GHz
1.5 GB RAM
and I've used both 32-bit and 64-bit (Just installed 64-bit) and on my 32-bit installation it runs sooooo slow and it lags soooooo much, but on my 64-bit installation i tested out some of the included sample levels (the ones that show off all the effects such as: ragdoll physics, smoke/steam, explosions, allies, etc.) and it ran soooooo fast i was blown away!! I mean as you can see my system specs arent the best out there, but 64-bit Vista brings out the best it can offer. So that was a mouthful, but remember 64-bit=YES, 32-bit=NO!!! lol

EDIT: I just played a multiplayer map that "icycold 2367" made and it was running at up to 80 FPS!!!!!! You really should switch to 64-bit. I can't even tell you how much i'm impressed by it That map would probably run at like 5 FPS MAXIMUM on my old OS Installation. LOL
