took me about an hour but there servral
things on the rifle i can figure out how to fix



I circled the areas
i don't no how to find the poly count in blender so no idea what it is

Looks to me like you have some hidden edges, but I only know how to fix that in 3DS Max sorry.

Other than that it looks good man!

he's right hidden edges will kill the final look of your model.

wow i was very off on my poly cound if vertext is the same as poly its 648 how do i reduce that

Your vertex count isn't the same as polygons. If you select your object, it should tell you how many polygons/quads/tris your model is.

timmie, it isn't hidden edges on the front. On blender the black means a mis-calculated normal. Go into edit mode select the areas and press shift-n. This will make the normal outside.

also, 777 isn't a lot of polys. In a modern FPS game the gun model could be around 1.5k polys. although it could have a lot more details in that poly count, I wouldn't worry about it.
