Hi guys got a proposition for yas. I was wondering if it is possible for several people to work on a 1 player game for FPS Creator.

I would generally like a 1 player game made in FPS Creator X10 as it can handle better frame rates etc. But what I mean is if i added a level layout to a FPS Creator map and saved it, along with all the entities that I have placed, if I sent the saved level file to someone else who had the same model packs as I had used in the level, and he opened the file on his computer, would all the settings and level layout, entities etc be in the same place as to where I put them?

I am asking because I was thinking of writing a story for a game to be created, I would call it a community game effort project so to speak. So if several people wrote stories for a game and everyone who wanted to participate in the game creation then voted on the one they liked best, then that would be the story theme for the game.

Next, as not all people know all the tips and tricks of FPS Creator like making when your walking along pages of text appear to come up and tell you what to do or give you clues, someone could be in charge of that part of the game creation and so on.

And other people creating the odd model here and there that may be needed to make the game more atmospheric etc.

So basically it is a whole game design team, who are not all in the one place. Basically each person would take the file in turn say i designed a level, send it to the next guy, he loads it up and can look through it if hes to add models into it i mark on a bitmap say where they could go and stuff and see if everyone agrees, then we do it and he does his part, then emails the model over and we place it in that position and all files in the right place etc.

Lemme know if this interests anyone if u see where i am going and we can get something together, thanks guys.

Hmm, I believe this would help greatly increase level design skills as you'd be able to see the actual level you are playing, and see little tricks or whatever...

Sounds interesting Hazzman. Unfortunately this is a team request, which is not allowed, anyone interested will have to carry this on through PM / Email.
