For anyone who doesn't know. I have taken over the project "Scorched" which was originally started by VSD. (Van Simple Designs) They split up, so I took over the project. It's a 3d worms type of game. That's why I made a destructable terrain for it.

I'd like you to try it out. I'm still playing with it, but it should be mostly finished now.
And if there is enough interest in this, I could give you some functions so you could use it for your own projects. Or maybe I could write about how it's done. Tell me what you want .

Mouse=move around
Spacebar=shoot
W=set wireframe on/off

Have fun!

Looks great, this would be a great thing for a Quake style rocket arena game.

Thanx!

It's made using memblocks. I got the idea from worms 3d. They used something with voxels with overlapping polys. I did something similar.

But of course (duh!)

Zombfied:
When I get the source code back on this computer I will post the source. After that I might turn it into useful functions. But at the moment I'm just too lazy to turn on the other computer and move the source to this computer

Ok, here's the source code. Doesn't make very much sense I think, but there might be some parts that are usefull. Might make cool functions later. For now you could use the write_mesh function and you could look in the code on how to do the rebuilding.

OK, it doen't make much sense just reading it, but I will look at it a bit more and maybe it will. Looks cool!

Yeah, I've been wondering why that happened?

I believe that it was because Simple wanted to work more on his artwork and not for games. But there was a topic at the realgametools forum. You could try and find it.

Yea, you're right, but that's fixed if you try the code.
