Well I don't really know how to describe it, no other Dark apps will work either all they either do is freeze or stop, Fps creator stops and does not run some other apps just freeze

Well, I don't know. You can always Ctrl<Alt<Delete and go to processes and close the mapeditor. If that doesn't work, then I don't know.

lol, that sounds fun, i have never experiences that problem, thank god, but just try different things like Disk Defrag and disc clean up sometimes defragmenting your hard drive can help applications to work better.

No harm to try it out

...can't provide any assistance with the tiny, vague information you've supplied.

Uninstall and reinstall are usually a good remedy, in most cases.

Good luck in your endeavors...

Disk defragmenting? Supposed to help? Every time I try it my comp stops working (on reboot I get BSOD, even with Safe Mode). I take it to get it repaired only to find there was nothing wrong with it.

Do either of these to ensure a happy relationship with your copy of FPSCreator:
1)Reintsall it.
2)Upgrade to the latest version 'it'

You still haven't said what happened, all that it just "pooped"?
Tell us from when you open fpsc to the error and we will get an idea of whats really happening. We can't help what we don't know.

Alright, I have to ask someone to please make a topic about running FPSC on Vista. Basically what you must do is right-click on the FPS-Creator shortcut, go to properties, go to compatibility. Run in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2, and then check the run as administrator box. I cannot stress how much we need a stickied topic about vista, could a moderator please make one?

Edit: Your problem sounds weird, but there are many versions of Vista so I don't know what to tell yeah, just try this, it is a common problem for compatibility with Vista, and everyone says Vista has compatibility issues, the only true one I've ever had was for a custom program somebody made that didn't run for creating servers in RPG Maker XP.
