this may have been asked a thousand times b4 but I'm such a noob I couldn't find it.
what I need to know is:

-how to edit a .X model in a program called anim8or or in 3DSM.

-is there a way to make the characters in the game be your companiers(instead of just shooting at you)?> if yes how?

-and I've noticed that some guns (kinda float) have no hands in them and other do have the hands handling the weapons and I would like to know if it is possible how to change the appearance of the hands/add hands to the weapons that don't have them (guns that recharge on their own (O_o)

okay, here we go

1. you simply import it

2. in fpsc x10 but not in x9 (not until v2)

3.buy some model packs from fpscreator.com

ok another problem I ran into its about the upgrades to fpsc so I downloaded them all instaled v.1.04 and so on until v.112.
Now I run fpsc and it gives an error saying that it can't run cause of Direct X so I went to do my googling and I found Direct X v9c, installed it and re-ran fpsc and it says "last version of Direct X not installed". Any thoughts on how to fix this?
I've win.xp if that is of any help.

so my fpsc still doens't run...but I think fpsc sucks cause of that no "helping characters" thing how are we suposed to fight a hole army alone???

isn't there a script or whatever that can fix this???

So ready for a new newbie question here it goes:

how to get my enemies to use a melle weapon like a knife or punch???
cause I've tried and it does not work it just acts as if he were shooting still.
