I have completed the camera functions help files, making the DBC community functions library 25% complete. So, to use it, replace the main.htm file in the help folder with the one in the zip (make a copy, just in case). Then move the file fcamera.htm into the help folder as well as the functions folder.

So that should do it.

Ever notice how in Microsoft word, the word "microsoft" is auto corrected to be "Microsoft" but "macintosh" just gets the dumb red underline?

This is the camera library for the DBC Community functions library. It is essentially a .dba file with different functions that people on the forums submitted to expand on darkbasic, since it is no longer being developed. It also comes with help files that can be accessed through the DBC help menu (including a new main page that has a link to the new libraries).

Sorry, I forgot that this was a separate thread from the other one and didn't say what it was. Here is the list of the new "commands"

1. CAMPOS()
2. SET_CAM_TARGET_TO_OBJECT()
3. CONTROL_CAM_WITH_KEYS()
4. XPOSCAM()
5. YPOSCAM()
6. ZPOSCAM()
7. OFFSETCAM()

[Edit]
Just realized I gave the incorrect file for the main.htm, it doesn't link to the functions. So here is the new one!

Camera X position() etc. already exist as commands.

But criticising without any input is just rude so I would like to add some commands if that's ok, I want to do some that replicate real-life camera techniques. Haven't written them yet though.

It is far better to complete a 10 line program than to start a 10,000 line program.

Well, these don't return the camera position. They position the camera at that spot on whichever axis you choose without changing its location on the other axis.

That sounds cool though obese.
