Hey guys, so I was stumbling across the web and came across this cool little app called Teddy.

It's a super simple 3d modeling program (free) that lets you easily create sort of cartoony models.

The nifty bit is that you model by 'drawing' the model. Some screenshots:

There I'm drawing the outline of the shape I want, sort of a snakey thing.

Just by letting go of the mouse button it fills in the shape I drew in 3d, simply by making skinner bits skinny all around, and fatter bits thick all around.

Then it's easy to add extrusions and 'bend' them, through a similar drawing method.

The program can export to .obj, which is importable in most 3d apps, so I thought it was worth mention ^^. Tis quite fun to play with as well. Also, I noticed that you can slice models in half just by drawing a line through them. It'll delete the half on the bottom part of the screen.

Aye I saw smooth teddy, although I didn't like it as much for some reason. Also Smooth Teddy can only export to VRML whereas Teddy has the .obj export option.

There are some nice features in Smooth Teddy though ><

Here's something snazzy I made using Teddy. I drew the base and then modeled the blades in Blender.

I also. Noted that in Smooth Teddy if you draw the side profile of a head it will make a decent head, nose aligned and all. I'm going to use this for some chopped off heads lol
