Whats the best way to create game menu buttons because Im looking for a really dark red bloody texture to go ove the top of this.

Photoshop.

Don't use paint. If its all you have, get Paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net) All I do is load the base button texture (find it in language bank, i think) and modify it by adding layers and painting on top of it.
