Dark GDK / setting model movement

Hi,
I've just started playing with Dark GDK and I have a default 3dgame template loaded.
The default has lots of spinning ball things.
I got rid of that and just made 1 ball appear.

dbMakeObjectSphere ( i, 1 )

my question is, how can i get this 3d model to move along a dictated path?

There are tutorials shipped with DarkGDK for a reason. Read through them all and get a grasp on the basics.
