OuterSpace Adventurer

Seeing as these are rubbish and i really need to improove but lack every bit of inspiration you tell me what too sculpt and i mkae for free for you??
Too stick too the theme of space tho would be nice as i rember i did this with animations but didnt really stick too it as it got repetitive and that so i may take requests and may change them slightly for the better.
It would be good also too have some sort of pictures or refrence so im not guessing what to make.

thank you

Would you be able to make me a humanoid alien? not like a rosswell alien more like a bitey, primitive alien.

I will try and draw up a concept piece

Couldn't you just had put this in your last thread instead of this one?

And there are still anatomy issues, as before, the arms are too short, the abs are too huge and far apart, the legs are WAY too tiny and have barely any detail at all etc.
And adding that alpha all over his body is just overkill, it's way to repeated in my opinion.

Also that being zBrush, it probably won't have that of a great topology, obviously you could retopologys (Can't spell that correctly) the model in a separate modeling software.

EDIT : I suggest starting to model in a non sculpting software (Zbrush is still a sculpting software to me) and learning on from there, and when you have the knowledge to make a good basemesh with good edgeflow take it into zbrush and make the normal/bump map from there.

I was only conecentrating on the torso and head area so the legs and arms are not done and thought this to be obvisouse

im sorry i guess im gonna quit with this whole 3d game dev thing iv got going as it not getting me anywhere and bit of waste of life if i try hard and still when i think it good and i am proud of my self still its (rubbish compared too profesionals in my opinion but proud with it myself)i was experimenting with that brush as i rwanted to test a brush out as i had not used this brush with other models

i have really tryed hard too do these and looking on other sculpts that other people have done i will never ever get there so i guess ill say good bye

Hey hey, I didn't mean anything bad, it was just criticism, no need to quit modeling just because people are criticizing your models, it's all to make you get better.

How did that sound evil? I just said the things that I saw was wrong with the model, so that he could fix them and learn from it, and I gave some tips on how to go about modeling and stuff. I thought you posted models on here to get criticism?

Maybe I am evil. What do I know, take my word for it, I meant to be helpful.

Uhm, fyi, that was criticism, how was it evil? He was stating the flaws, it is a decent model, but unless you know the flaws, how can you improve?

*On topic*
This is a nice service, looking forward to seeing what you end up making. =D

Alucard94: yerh you are right i probly need too start too make proper base meshes in a seperate programme the reason i did this and got zbrush is i kind of thought it did everything for me what is kind of lazy and also i dont know a good 3d modeling software with an good interface...actually no i can handle a confusing interface but something that can let me work on my model lot easyier and i can play with the model good i have tryed wings 3d for this but the trouble is with that are issues with extrusion when trying too extrude shapes side by side too get more polygons around a area it basically destroys the whole model by splitng it in half i have tryed many programmes although i am now going too try loads to get brilliant at this and only use zbrush for the normal maps not for the whole model
Yes Alucard94 is probly not evil and gives great advice i was just yesterday feeling a bit depressed so i think he needs a BIG thank you

Beast E Gargoyle: if you would like something or know of a model you wont me to create ill do it al correect and animate it and make the base mesh in another programme nd normal mapp it in zbrush please send me an email so i know what too make for you aswell

Thank you people i am going too improove if it kills me

If you'd ask me I'd say try your hand at blender, read and watch a whole bunch of tutorials on it to get used to the interface and then you should be able to do wonders

Yeah, dont give up modelling, Its a great trade and great fun. especially when you have godly software like ZBrush which can really give you an advantage over others. I use Wings3D myself, and I would be happy to make some base meshes ( Im not great, but im learning ) for you to then sculpt off of. I can make a really low poly, human male body but its just when I get to the head, it ends up as a box ;-D Im learning MODO302 though and getting more experienced with face and head modelling. So soon I should be able to assist with free base meshes. as its all part of the learning curve for me also

If I understand you it's very simple to fix, just use "extrude region" instead of "extrude".
