I don't know if any one has noticed this or if its been fixed in a new version of DBpro but when you use the file exist() command in the status bar it says the syntax of the command is
FILE EXIST (File Number) when, as is correctly stated in the help files it should be FILE EXIST(Filename)

Indeed - there are are fair few errors in both the manual and on-line help system... Seems someone spent too much time programming, and too little time proof-reading.

You can fix that by opening the "keywords.ini" file in the "Dark Basic ProfessionalEditorKeywords" directory, simply use Ctrl-F or whatever to skip down to File Exist and change the "File Number" in brackets to "Filename" - simple as that.

Thnx, I'll od that when I rember\can be bothered

There's another error in the actual help program, click on the find box at the top and (if you have one) scroll up with the scroll wheel on your mouse, the entire help frame shifts up and you get an alert box saying "wheel" then another one saying "up". If you scroll down you get the same thing but the frame shifts down and there is only the first alert box. Any ideas about what on earths going on? Rich???

Another one for the list...
is it me or does this make no sense when you read the description then look at the syntax? Do you think the syntax should read "SET WINDOW LAYOUT Full Window, Titlebar, Icon"?

SET WINDOW LAYOUT
This command will set the window settings. If the Full Window Flag is set to one the window is created
with titlebar, minimise and close icons and an icon. If the Title Bar Flag is set to zero, the titlebar is
removed from the window. If the Icon Flag is zero, the icon is removed from the window.

SYNTAX
SET WINDOW LAYOUT Style, Caption, Icon Number

I also remember getting the message box's so I just dismissed them and guessed Guy forgot to remove them when he was testing how to implement the mouse wheel support.

You're probably right about the syntax as well.
