i am new and lost i want to make a 2d game but were do you find the 2d commands and what do you use to make levels and characters

Warning! Extremely simplified!
2D games are mainly made from standard basic commands...

Dim
If Then
For Next...etc

Then a few bitmap commands

Load Bitmap
Load Image
Paste Image
Sprite commands

And some other commands

Text
Sync On
Sync

And most images are drawn in a 2D art Package.

If you are really serious, you will need to buy the darkbasic book, find it at darkbasic.com

with this you will have a chance.
