Hey, it's been brought to my attention that someone called "New Games" has been claiming I gave him permission to distribute Buttercutter.

This is not the case. He did email me a totally incomprehensible message , which I think, although I cant be entirely sure, said that he would like to give butter cutter away free (the email conversation is attached at the bottom)

Although I'm not selling ButterCutter anymore, it doesn't mean it can be freely distributed.

Downloading ButterCutter from New Games Rapidshare, or anywhere else is piracy.

I can't really understand your email.
If you're asking if you can add a download link for buttercutter then no.
If you're asking if you can add a download link for the sci stuff then yes.
best
John

John if your not releasing Butter Cutter anymore. Couldn't you release it on TGC Store? I think this may stop alot of people from complaining and pirating it. And you will get the little extra in your pocket.

Maybe the sound is simlar...
...or too much G-Mod for you.

I am against piracy. I don't tolerate it, I hate it. Whoeverpirates deserves to get a 3-year sentence in jail. It's illegal, yet those idiots can get away with it. Jerks.

Oh no...This is really bad man. I suggest you email Rick about it. I did that when I found people uploading model packs onto filefront and he put an end to it.

The easiest thing to do (I found) was to report him to his IP (if you can find out who it is) They'll take a look into it and if anything comes up they can cut off his service, send a letter to his family (judging from the coherance of is letter he can't be that old) and they give him a... serious talking to... as well.

Then email Rapidshare and wherever else he's uploaded to and get it removed from their site.

I'm sorry to hear that this is being pirated as well because this was really good. But that's the way of the world unfortunately.

I was skeptical of that guy, but when he said he had E-Mail proof, I guessed I should hold back a sec until he comes up with it or not.....

He didn't, so Fred locked the thread, (hey, that rhymes)...
