Quote: "It is the year 2010 and the war between america
and Russia has just ended.
nobody knew why the Russians started
a war, at least till now.
Russia has found alien sources
and they don't want to share it so
they began a war,
and now you are getting involved
in the story because you have to examine
and destroy the sources in Russia."
You know how when people need a movie trailer, and they can't think of anything original, they us the "movie trailer guy"?
I have to say I feel it's like that with the Russians and the Nazis. It's like... I need a generic evil nation/group to front the baddies in my story, but I don't really have any ideas so I'll just bang in the russians and that'll have to do... that or the poor old muslims.
Right now there is little to no chance of a war with Russia. Most of the countries with Nuclear capabilites have them as a preventative measure, meaning, no-one will go to war with them because no-one wants to get nuked, but at the same time, if you go to war and you have nukes, you don't really want to use them, because they pretty much {edit} things up.
Your best bet is terrorists or rouge states, but lets be honest, that's been done a million times, and no-one wants to play another shoot-the-arabian-looking-guy-who-we-say-is-a-terrorist-don't-ask-questions-they're-just-terrorists.
Couldn't the aliens have just infiltrated society in general? They could be anyone, anywhere? You start of as that Agent in Russia, because it looks like something is going on there with alien stuff, but then as the story progresses it comes to light that the aliens are infact everywhere, that they have infiltrated society in all areas of the globe...
I'd type more but I'm tired.
