hey guys,
i know that you gotta have a windows vista with a good graphics card and all, but ya know it said that with EFX mod for X9 and i could stil run it, i was wondering if i could possibly pull off running X10 on a
Windows 2000
270 GB of space
Nvidia GeForce 6200

No. You need a card that reads like this Nvidia GeForce 8***.
They're the only cards with Shader Model 3.0 which is needed to run FPSC X10. I don't know if the 6 series will let you run DX10...

That can run Half-Life2 at 35-45 fps... Fat chance with x10

Dont think you can pull it off at all. EFX again has been omptimised for x9? if you dont know Heck to run efx you atleast gotta have a GeForce 7 series.(on level 2 low.)


No doubt'fully the simon cowell of the fpsc section :S

Why can't you do a little research yourself? Firstly, the only operation system that supports DirectX 10 is Vista, and no earlier OS is likely to ever support it. Secondly, you can't use DirectX 10 on a card that isn't compatible, so anything earlier than the GeForce 8 series cards won't cut it. Thirdly, you could have found out the answer to this much quicker by doing a forum search.
