Yes, I am somewhat familiar with C++, and was wondering if there were any turorials on DarkGDK? That would be most helpful. THANKS

Yes, there are some really great, basic tutorials, and examples that come included with the DarkGDK when you download it..

If you add that to the wealth of information you can uncover by browsing through these forums and you have, in my opinion, the definitive introduction to game development using C++.

The DarkGDK itself also comes with alot of useful information, and an almost complete reference documentation to its functions. I only say almost, because if you dig through the header files, there are a number of goodies to be discovered that are undocumented.

If it ain't broke.... DONT FIX IT !!!
