Hello all! I'm working on a new game that's probley never been done before. It's called Gone Fishing. I just want to know if it's worth finishing. The controls are:

on foot and in water:
W=move forward
S=move backwards
A=slide to the left
D=slide to the right
mouse=look around
left click=shoot
E=get in boat

in boat:
W=speed up
s=slow down
mouse=turn
E=get out of boat

temp weather controls:
upkey=raise water
downkey=lower water
rightkey=night time
leftkey=fog
The weather will be random in the future.

Things to know
Clicking opitions get you a duck quack for now.
The fish all swim to one wall. (Bad AI)
The sky has a kink in it. (Dark basic flaw!)
The walls disopear in fog or night modes. (Dark basic flaw!)
The fish flicker when the water level goes down.

Please report any problems.

I have a nice code for game of LINES.This code will check way of a ball.
here it is:

No body wants to try the game? It's kinda a big download for 56k users (13MB) but i think myself that it's a pretty damn good game considering some of the shit that's out there. So please try it i want some feed back. Thanks.

Fishing with a gun! Lol! Its pretty good, some nice weather effects, although the frame rate is slow as hell on my system (10fps), probably because of the massive draw distance. The sounds are good too but the boat jumping up and down is annoying, you should try and get it to run more smoothly. Also you should smooth the aiming, it is a bit jerky at the moment. The fish are really good, I like the way the struggle when on land and swim off when the tide comes up, really cool .

Its an original game and you made a good start to it, you just need to smooth it out and add more varienty to it and it could be an interesting game .

Thanks a lot Hamish! I did already fix the aimer smoothness and i'll work on the boat. I don't know what to do with the fps because i get a perfect 32 all the time. I have a 2.6 pen4 with 256 mb ram and a 128 DDR ATI Radeon 9800. So i don't know what to expect on slower machines. Any suggestions on speed?
