I am currently working on some terrain objects.

Thought I would post a shot clip here to see if anyone might be interested, or if I should just scrap the whole idea. LOL

Texture is still rough but the terrain is the main part.

Best.

I used Freeworld3d to create the terrain, then import that into
AC3D to make adjustments and then export it as a .x file from there.

And yes I am looking at adding trees and shrubs and the likes
those can be added in either program, texturing is not my strongest
asset so that creates a little trouble but nothing that can't be over come

Ok changed the texture and placed several together to make a
ragged terrain look. See screen shot.

Adding trees and such still not working out, FPSC doesn't seem to
like my 15,000+ verticies in those models hehehe.

More to come

This one is a hollow mountain with a floor and and 2 entrances to enter it.

it is the size of almost the entire grid in FPSC.

For those wanting the model specs they are:
Total objects: 8 surfaces: 8502 vertices: 4691

Here is a pic, the model will be in the next post

Nice, sorry to bother, but how hard would it be to get a hollowed out mountain effect, like NORAD in the Cheyenne mountains in America?

Hmmm I assume I could just do the same as the above mountain,
but enlarge the opening and change the shape of the mountain of course.

All the interor pieces would have to be placed after words,
other wise the poly count would be way to high.

I'll do some searching for some images and see what I can come up with.
