Does anybody know a program I can use to make the guy hold the guns? Like convert the free .3ds model files I have into the proper format? I'd like it to be free if possible.

So you want the enemy to hold the gun you have got? in that case you will need to convert the gun into direct x format (or .X for short).

Edit: sorry i forgot to put the program you should use. download either a copy of milkshape 3d or a copy of fragmotion. Milkshape has a 40 day trial period and fragmotion can be used indefinatly i think. here are the links.

Milkshape 3d
Fragmotion

hope that helps!

I have programs that make it into a direct.x file, but when I use the entiety importer, it will show up on the ground, but what I need is the thing you use in the texture folder. I can pick it up and it says "Weapon Obtained" or something like that, but he won't hold it. How do I get the folder that has the .dds files in it? I REALLY NEED THIS TO WORK! Any help is appreciated. Sorry for not being so specific before.
