Nice Logo I think i hafta change the name anyways since the mac has a program called qmidi....but for now it will remain as qmidi (quick midi) paint brush like editor....

i just made one more update to this....it now has variable pan as well

looks to load the old files still but you need to re adjust modulation settings as well as tempo speed

Re-download from top (same link)

(Midi file format will no longer function properly....use wav recorder built in to record it)

if you still want to use the midi file format id use release 1 for now.

1 thing i noticed......you can't modify mod/pan/vol settings when the sustain pedal is being used.

so please dont report that as a glitch

also the pan data needs to be reset on the older songs.

If anyone makes a song on v15 and wants to upload it can you please wait until r2 is completely released. The online section is going to get overhauled for r2.

you could post songs however but r1 users will have errors when trying to load them. Id prefer you to post songs on this thread to showcase them for now

If you realy want to post with 'qmidi online' then just make a comment that its for r2 only

@ Chunks: did you still need that rec.dll you made me? Also question about that. I made modifications to the sampling rate and 16 bit thingy.... it seems to record to wav fine like that but it doesnt work for the mp3 converter. The mp3 sounds retarded fast... it probly wips threw a song in 5 seconds....lol

Anyways I will email that rec.dll back to ya tonight

Update: I have the editor running much smoother now.... im adding the editor preferences to it so you can choose what color you want things to look like. As well as being able to change the background image. I think i will also add a new tool....im going to keep it a secret until the final r2 is ready

Im not sure about making version 2 anymore.... i think i will leave that up for someone else to create. I have other projects i want to get going on before making any more music editors.

So This Qmidi R2 will be finished around halloween next month.

I will post a new thread for its arival

Also i think saving to the midi file format will be obsolite for r2....stay with r1 if you need that feature.

cheers!

The editor is now released and the download can be found in the music forums....Also i believe rudolpho is going to try writing the midi file format save into this a bit later on

Enjoy!

A few new songs have been produced to showcase some of the new features.
