And other thing: Will TGC make FPSC X11?? If yes, what there will be?

It wouldn't be any difference. And No TGC won't make a FPSC X11 because it won't show no durastic difference in graphics.

Really x11 won't be any different. But there will never be a FPSCx11, its stupid considering they just brought out FPSCx10.

directx 11 brings ray-tracing into the field.
Heres a snap of what ray tracing can do for games:

Uh, yes, if you believe April Fools' jokes.

We're not yet at the stage where ray-tracing is feasible, it's just far too computationally expensive.

Nvidia 10800 lol. They'll propbably make a new FPSC once they're happy with the sales with X10.

Nah, they'd only do it once FPSC X9 gets fully outmoded and no-one uses it, and X10 is in the position X9 is now......

It wouldn't be good for business to be supportuing 3 versions of the same product at once anyway, Lee has enugh on his plate as it is fixing uo X9 and 10, could you imagine what it would be like adding in X11 there, along with DBP users who want that fixed up as well....

That was in the Christmas 2007 edition of PCZONE, and it is already slightly compatible with X10. And some mod should move this, it has nothing to do with FPSC. Learn the layout of the forum.

Finally, people laugh at my jokes .

Microsft have announced that DX11 may not be created until 2013 or so, as there was a phenomenal downfall of popularity with X10 because of that Vista was only suppported. Besides, there is no possiblility of getting it this year or the next, it's just out of this league. And I've seen 6 posts saying the ame thing like this, and thta's just lame. FOr those who are lazy and can'ty be bothered to look through the forums, USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!! It's a tool that you can use to find a post that you are looking for!

If I was a mod I'd lock this and link all the available threads about this jargon.

yeah microsoft would have to wait for X10 to get populsr before moving on, as for FPSC X 11, no its not happening as it would require yet another upgrade to the computer with a even samller user base then X10

@ First Company Veteran:

As far as I'm concerned, DirextX 10 revolutinized raytracing with the geometry shader that lee talks about in a video... Nevertheless, we did have raytracing on water in... like DX8, with Morrowind. There are probably earlier examples, too.

Look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaxezrAz9g0

FYI, realtime cubemaps = raytracing.

I've seen that before, but I never knew cubemapping and ray tracing were the same thing....

I'm holding off any more updates until the "chip in the head" is mainstream. LOL Pretty soon we'll have to make a game and get it to market same day, else the technology will be too old to sell.

Best.
