Hey yall this is prob a stupid question but what are the diffrences between the free version of fpsc and the $50 version. I know about being able to build games, but i can get that for 20 bucks off of the game creators store. So there must be some more diffrences (or at least i hope there is)

It comes with more stock media, and it comes on a disc...

edit:**thraxas drew faster so heres a long version of his**

you get custom Media packages in 3 flavours:
A Scifi theme with segments, characters and entities and a WorldWar2 theme with almost the same amount of stuff. On top there is some Modernday stuff like military/police specialists and such. So you can build a (basic) game without buying or making stuff.
You must decide for yourself if you think that this extra content makes it worthwhile for you. Looking at the quantity you get, it#s quite a deal... But it covers only parts of what some people might want to use in their games so you can also buy what you need in the store. which will cost you that 30$ min for a complete game furnished

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

When I bought FPSC you could only get the $50 version... If I had a choice then I would definitely have bought the $20 version and then used that other $30 to buy the things I wanted from the store (or a model pack and $10 of stuff from the store)...

If you want to use all custom media then the $20 version is the obvious choice...

I think the free version does not support multiplayer.

With the regular/full version, you also get the opportunity to bundle model packs at a very good discount when checking out. I also assume it's easier to re-download the online version at a later date should you have the need, if you ordered through the website store.
