Nice model/texture.

Crit: The arms, legs and neck are too long.

His arms are too thin and he doesn't look half as good as your other model.http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=129060&b=3

I'd call it... 'Stylised'

Actually he's pretty good (if not a bit anorexic)

i was kind of going for a cartoonish look about him so i exaggerated his limbs a bit & went for a painted face texture rather than a photo based one .

i want to game/ wow i forgot about that model i will have to dig it out & try to finish it.

the character and texture are really cool. as this is your first character i am not gonna say much, but it's awesome for a first. however, the only odd thing is that he looks flat ingame.

I took a look outside, and Nickydude was pointing a pistol at my head.

Well done Henry

Very impressive for a first character.

Bond1 has set the standard for all of us to follow and we all have to start somewhere. I'd say you've started well.

Look forward to seeing your progress.

That tutorial he followed for the other model is pretty good, I always reference from it. Making the head is particularly hard though, so congrats on that.

Looking nice! Love the mesh style! Reminds me of Team Fortress.
If you redo the texture with less detail (and more cartoony) it would certainly look like a character of Team Fortress.

A tip for those having difficulty modelling heads;
buy Facegen Modeller [Google it) and export the mesh as an obj. You can then optimise it as appropriate however you choose. Getting the texture to fit is your own problem.

This one is really cool henry, however the first one is also good but there are some proportions missing ( the head is a little bit stretched .. ) anyway this is really very nice and i even couldn't do 0.0001 of this work

Wow Grim Fandango .. I still remember this game

well done henry, looks awsome. my only crit would be that the arms are a bit skinny in comparison to his broad physique, but still a good job!

yes mate for this one i used my referance photos for the base of the texture (theres no way i could get it to look so real with just painting ),see below.
