can you write three very different (size/purpose) Memblocks to a file and then later just read them back (Read Memblock 1,1, Read Memblock 1,2, Read Memblock 1,3) without having to worry about the start position of Memblocks 2 and 3???

depends what exactly you mean... the files and memblocks are pretty seperate.

You mean write 3 different memblocks into one file then read the 3 memblocks back?

Just tested it and you don't need to worry about the position in the file of the memblocks. see source button.

Never used memblocks before, it's actually really easy.

You don't get the extra smilies when you edit a message

That's good to know. I'm wragged off with waiting for the 3d object .dbo file (and others) and I'm writing my own file formats...

oh well, no .dbo in Upgrade 5 so my file format will have to do me now... shame as I cant combine things into a cohesive runs on its own 3d object animation for each object but have to keep referring to arrays etc... .

C'est La Vie...
