I am a noob here, and I am no artist, so I have to post the following question (even though I am quite sure it has been posted before). Please bear with me as (like I said) I am new here.

Can someone please tell me EXACTLY AND IN DETAIL what segments, entities, weapons, etc., are in Model Packs 15 and 18? I looked at the descriptions for these packs, and they say the same thing: The pack has loads of new entities, to include blah blah blah. I understand that they INCLUDE the stuff that is listed, but neither description has a complete list of the stuff that is in the pack.

I am interested in purchasing both of these packs based on information I have seen (that they both cater to the fantasy/medieval setting), but I can't figure out the entire contents. If someone could list the contents, I would appreciate it.

You can buy Model Pack 18 Stuff in the TGC Store. That way you dont have to buy models you dont want. Im not sure about 15.

When I go to the TGC store, I cannot see any links to purchase individual items. In fact, I cannot see any links to purchase anything related to FPS Creator or Models there. Like I said, I'm a noob here. Can you give me a link to the section of the store that shows this please?

I read that post before, but was still confused about the exact weapons in the pack. The pictures of the characters show clubs, swords, knives, and axes. Are those weapons included in the pack? If not, which pack are they included in?

You have the latest version of FPSC?Then when you click on the game creator store button at the bottom the store should fire up and anyone should be able to figure it out from there.
No crazy links. You just pick what you want by double clicking on it and either buy it or place it in your cart.
There's a bunch of free stuff there as well.
Please be sure to rate anything you buy or get for free.
If worst comes to worst there's a stand alone version of the store in the DarkBasic Pro forums.
You can get the latest upgrade for FPSC in the Product Chat forum.

Apparently, I am not making myself entirely clear here. Let me explain (again):

1. I am not an artist, and I am new to the site here. So I am in need of help, not short responses that do not answer my questions.

2. I do not have FPSC x10.

3. I am trying to figure out what items are contained in Model packs 13 and 18. I have since determined that model pack 15 is not what I originally meant, and need to know what is in 13 and 18. And my primary concern is the weapons contained in each.

4. When I go to the online store, I cannot find the link that allows me to purchase individual items from the model packs. Which is why I am asking for a direct link to that portion of the store's site. I will check out the DarkBASIC forums to see if I can find the link, but I doubt it considering I have already searched every square inch of the website prior to asking.

I am really hoping that someone out there will actually take the time to read and properly respond to my post. If I have to, I will just forge ahead on my own without any help. But I will give it one last shot before I give up here.

I now also have another question regarding the forums. I have searched for different model downloads that are available, and a lot of posts come up with the title indicating that there are model downloads in the post. Yet when I click on the post, there are ZERO links in them. Is this because I am still a noob out here? Or have the links been removed?

The PLAYER weapons are the first three pictures: bow, crossbow, oil bombs.

The weapons the characters are holding are part of the character's themselves, and cannot be changed. There are more PLAYER weapons available in the STORE, such as a sword, battle axe, and mace. You need the latest version of FPSC to access the store (not X10), which can be downloaded here: http://www.fpscreator.com/downloads.html

Many times, posts are deceiving in that they are actually requests for items instead of the items themselves. Also, some links and downloads are removed by the poster and the mods for various reasons. It has nothing to do with your forum status.

Best.

So, the only way to access the store is to go the FPSC? I have to check which version I have at home (it isn't X10, but I have to see if I have the latest update first).

Is there any way to access it from the web itself? Which button in FPSC is it?

Ok, so I downloaded the latest version update and installed it. And my FPSC went blamo. I had to uninstall and reinstall the old version. What happened? When I fired up FPSC after the update it lost my registration/license information. And the only way to get it back was to pay for it again. Anybody got any advice on that one?

You need to contact Customer Service...badly.TGC does not want you to waste your money (they have other stuff you can buy instead).
Please contact them before you waste any more money.
You might want to read up a little on FPSC and download the official community guide to FPSC and figure out what you're trying to put on your pc.
There seems to be some kind of inability for us to communicate with you and, frankly, the store is one of the easiest things to use.
I think maybe someone from Customer Service can help you better.

There is no direct link which itself takes you to individual items from the model pack (as far as I know you can only download individually from the store within FPSC itself)... When you have a look at an item it will tell you in the item description that it is part of a model pack (of course if it isn't part of a model pack it won't show you that)

Not as far as I know... The button in FPSC which takes you to the store is located at the bottom left of the interface...

This is actually a common problem and it has a very simple solution... You just need to type your serial number into the userdetails.ini file when you open it you will see something similar to this:

Once you type in your serial code it should fix your problem about having the free version...

I'll edit this post with some pictures to show you what I mean shortly...

For that image 800x600, for my screen 1680x1050, I reduced the screenshot to 800x600 like I do with all my screenshots.

I appreciate all of the help you experts have given to this humble noob. I downloaded the beta version of the standalone store last night, and I installed that on my machine. This morning I then downloaded (don't quote me on this number) about 20 of the free items as a test for the following:

1. That I could download items.
2. That I could download multiple items at once.
3. That the download settings worked.
4. That I would retain backup zip files.
5. That I would be placing the unzipped items in the right folders once extracted.

Ok, so I'm a little anal and paranoid thanks to my experience with the upgrade. No big deal. But it all worked, and I am happy as a clam right now. I still need to purchase a lot of items yet (weapons, characters, etc.), but I'm on my way to turning this idea in my head into reality.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough, so I'll ask you in plain english:

Which part of "I installed the 1.12 upgrade and it screwed up my licensing" did you not understand? The first piece of advice I got was to install that. Which I did, and then my licensing got hosed, so I had to uninstall and reinstall everything EXCEPT the 1.12 upgrade. I then received advice to download the standalone beta version and use that due to the problems I had with the 1.12 upgrade (see my post titled "Looking For a Few Good Models" for more details).

As you can plainly see, I DID follow the advice given to me by people out here (with the exception of the last part about the userdetails.ini file, as I had used the Beta version of the store prior to seeing that post). I'm not trying to sound harsh here, but the next time you try to slap my hand for not following advice I suggest you read ALL of my posts first.

You went through a lot more than you should have. When you upgrade to 1.12 and it starts giving you the free version, I'm assuming that's what happened, all you have to do is open the file 'userdetails.ini' and type in your serial code.

Jenkins, if you read this part:

You'll see that he didn't know about it until after he used the store...

@Leon, glad to see everything is up and running. Can't wait to see your first games. If you need help with anything, just give me a shout.

Funnily enough, I just put up a post with a listing of the stuff in all of the model packs attached - it's something that I've been working on to help me work out what to put in a game and to find it more easily.

Hope it helps.
