I'm going to assume you're using the normal version of FPSC and not X10...

Even though you're using Vista with DirectX10 installed you still need to install DirectX 9 to get FPSC to work... Don't worry you can have both versions of DirectX installed without any problems

Not true, you need a Direct x10 compatible card to have x10. Vista could come with a 7900 or whatever and it wouldn't be x10. You would need a 8400 or up.

Well, Im not sure what kind of graphics card I have. I got it from my uncle, but I know it's 256mb Nividia GFX Card. I am using the original version of FPSC. I custom built my PC so half the stuff is probably bad. If you want I can give you a list of my PC's details?

No, Vista does come with DirectX 10, but you can't use it unless you have a compatible card.
