Got a question on this item. I downloaded it from the store, and it works marvelously. I was going to use this item as a club of sorts (circa Thief: The Dark Projects' blackjack), but the hands that the weapon uses are not the same hands as the medieval hands that are used for the models from pack 18, or the hands that bond1 used for the sword, flail, etc.

So I am wondering if anyone out there *cough* *cough* *bond1* *cough* was going to possibly do the truncheon with the medieval hands from pack 18?

I dont think you understand the world of copyright, liscensing or rights.

1: You cant just take someone's model, free or not, and re-release it without the creator's permission.

2: Bond1 is a busy man. He doesnt tend to give things away for free, especially not a fully re-rigged and re-animated weapon, especially if he's adding something he once released in a product.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but i'm just making myself clear.

PS. Welcome to TGC

The licensing on the Truncheon (which is a free model in the TGC Store) states that you can redistribute.

I never asked for it to be given away. I merely asked if anyone (hinting at bond1 due to the lovely job he did on other weapons) was going to do it. I never asked for a free one, nor did I state that I wouldn't pay for one if it was done.

You know, I think I'm done here at this forum. I come out here to get advice and ask questions, and yet all I get is flamed. Thanks for making my experience out here a welcome one. You and all the other guys who don't bother to read my posts (or read something that isn't there) and then bash me make it really hard for us noobs to want to stay here.

Forget it - forget I asked. I'll do what I can with FPSCreator, and if I need help I'll do a search for topics already created. If I can't find something, I'll work it out on my own. Forget this site - asking for help is just an invititaion to be flamed.

Re-skin the hands yourself, it's only a basic glove and sleeve model.

Exactly where are you seeing it says this? Your license must be different than mine as it says no such thing Aaagreen wasn't flaming you. Just pointing out facts.

My license says the same thing and we're picky about that kind of thing around here.
If you think it's been bad already wait until you break a license agreement...Really Bad Things shall befall you.
These guys are trying to save you a trip down Been Banned Boulevard.
At any rate the thread is dead.
For the love of FPSC please CAREFULLY read and FOLLOW the license agreements so we can all live in peace and harmony.
